| This initiative developed to encourage visitors off the Interstates to discover the roads less traveled all along Historic Highway 31W and 31E.
WMTH Team Members produced a website and 4-color brochure working with many community leaders, private citizens, etc. to spotlight each community along the route. TEA-21 Grants were written by a WMTH Team member and awarded to help fund the initiative. A research firm was hired to document and record in a database historic sites all along the both highway 31W and 31E. Click here for more information about this initiative. |
